I had to read this for my degree and found it quite entertaining. I thought Mak and Gill were funny and their approach to problemsolving was definitely unique. I also liked how the shepherds ended up not punishing Mak and were then rewarded for that by God; it's an interesting take on the biblical story.
Semi charming but the actual shePherds part is rather tedious
This is the play that’s like don’t be a thief and you’ll meet the baby Jesus
i just read this for school but the first half was surprisingly funny, buuuttt because it’s from the 1500 it was still pretty boring and not at all for me
Had to read this for my Shakespeare class (looking back at how plays were before him) and I must say that I quite enjoyed it. Usually "old" English plays are hard to follow but this one certainly wasn't and it was a "nice" story. Though when the Angel calls upon them after they've dealt with Mak, was pretty random..

read this during a table read for a play we're putting on in class
we had no idea what the fuck was going on
but 3 stars for the accents and weird voices we were using for our characters
