I remember getting this book on the day of its release and reading it a little while later and thinking 'I waited a year... for this?'
This book just really isn't as good as the others, and if it wasn't a dork diaries book, it would be more like a 2 or 3 star book.
This book felt more like a filler book. There wasn't a whole lot of plot or substance to this one and... I don't know, it just kinda felt like it was lacking?
This book just really wasn't as funny as the others. The other books have made meh literally laugh out loud, but this one just didn't do that. I don't even know if I smiled whilst reading this book because it wasn't humorous at all. Which may not mean a lot, but compared to some of the others, which I found utterly hilarious, it's a bit of a let down.
This book also had a whole lot of potential to be great for character development for a whole lot of people, but it just wasn't. By the end of the book, all of the character development had been undone and just wasn't useful at all?
And we just kept getting introduced to new characters that would never be named again? Like, sorry, I don't car about 8 random people that I've only just gotten introduced to and can't differentiate between. I finished this book this morning and I only remembered one of their names.
The only positive about this book is that we got quite a lot of Brianna content (my favourite character at this point, to be honest). So, I guess that made it worth it. And we got a lot of Mackenzie (my second favourite character), so, you know, there's that.
All in all, I'm just a bit disappointed in this book.

i read this during a car ride bcs my little sister brought it along... never read these as a kid but yeah it was honestly silly funny quick? nikki is like "i'm not like other girls" and is constantly talking shit abt her archenemy mackenzie while she is also doing mean things,, anyway briana's fave thing to eat is ice-cream with ketchup and raisins??? ice-cream with KETCHUP???
