A wonderful sequel. Very fun and easy, but also hopeful and reflective on life and death. That ending though! Really hope there will be a third book at some point.

This book might not have been perfect but it definitely was the perfect book for this moment.
I loved the atmosphere and the characters and the vibes but more than anything I couldn't stop reading strangely. It's not action packed or super tense but it still kept me hooked till the end and I liked how Brynn grew up compared to the first book.
I hope we will get more in this world because I need more.

Besides the fact that I think the storyline of 'When the Crow's Away' lacked the depth 'In the Company of Witches' had, I still enjoyed immersing myself in this book. I'm completely and utterly in love with these characters and desperately need a cook book from Izzy Warren! :)

I enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere is great and the mystery is very well crafted. My only thorn on this rose was
the apparent introduction of a future "conservative" love interest. I'm not into relationships where one has to convince the other they deserve rights so...
we'll see if that stays a thorn or not. I eagerly await the third book.
