this book surprised me. it isn’t the type of book i would normally pick up, but i saw it at the library and decided to give it a shot. i’m glad i did.

i really enjoyed the idea of the story and how it was executed. it focused on topics that are heavier than what i usually read, but it made for an enlightening reading experience. seeing how much little changes and regrets could influence so much of what our lives are like was very interesting (and has only sent me into a minor existential crisis).

my one complaint would be how nonchalant the protagonist was at certain points in the book. because for how much we were reminded that nora has really bad stage fright, she seemed pretty chill whenever she had to talk to large groups of people, which just irked me. it made her character seem a bit unrealistic.

No notes. Loved every moment of it, whether I was laughing or crying or rushing to write down something I wanted to remember.

I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this book. After hearing all the hype, I worried it wouldn’t live up to my expectations.

But wow, I’m so glad I was wrong! The story was incredible, and I really connected with some of the themes.

I can’t say I loved Nora at first, but by the end of the book, I was fully rooting for her. I found myself desperately hoping she would find her man and, at the very least, some happiness.

One of the reasons I enjoyed this book so much was that it tackled some really dark topics, including suicide. While parts of it were undeniably heavy, it never felt overwhelmingly depressing.

I also loved the concept of the library and how the story centred around multiverses rather than focusing on an “afterlife.”

There were a few sections that dragged a bit more than others, but overall, I absolutely loved this book! I think that if you have experiences with mental health problems such as anxiety and/depression you will find something that resonates with this story.
