I have absolutely loved this series from start to finish. The plot continued to intrigue and surprise me, and the characters were so believable and relatable. Plus, I adore the little Aussie references that make it feel like home!

cool ending. i like that they have to actually DEAL with the aftermath of things, re: police, deaths, etc. etc.
SO much stuff about death and parent's death though. like 2/3s of the book was centered around her besties's mothers death and the wake and the funeral. was pretty triggering.

Great read, ending left me with many questions unanswered like how Pearl still had the powers even after Misrule had ended, what happened to Holly-Anne, and many more.

Overall I would give this series 4/5 stars, great content, but the ending left me unsatisfied. Hoping for a 4th book or maybe a novella that'll answer some unanswered questions.

Okay, so the first two books in the Valentine trilogy were 4.5 for me, only because I knew that this was coming.

I KNEW that there was that one missing thing that is so very, very much here in the final book.
Or is it? There is still so much space for story. I mean, what about *spoiler*? And *spoiler*!!!

And let’s be honest, I would give up a kidney to see what would happen if the native Australian spirits found out what was going on in their backyard. Cardy as an indigenous Australian having had the unseelie in his head?

I am proud to have Jodi representing Australian Literature.

I loved this quirky, fun book along with the spunky main characters and the Australianness of it. It's different from anything else I've read in this genre and I appreciated the uniqueness. I did miss the absencce of Finn though. I hope there will be a fourth book as it felt like a lot of questions went unanswered and there is a lot of room for exploring what happens next.

Wow what an ending to a great trilogy! I feel like the books only got better and this one was no different! I know that the story is over but a girl can always hope for some short stories right?!?

loved the series, read it in a couple of days although i really didn’t like the ending :/

It’s 1:54 am, and I don’t regret anything
