Probably between 3 and 4 stars but again, dislike to lovers makes me happy so here i am rounding it up! The bet part was kind of unnecessary but Spencer and Cory (hate his name) were cute together! Liked the addition of a side couple, side couples make me even happier :,)
AHHH AMAZING AMAZING!!! I love this series so fucking much god i’m so ready for the rest of it. Neve as usual hit it out of the fucking park!! I loved this and I just never wanted to put it down!

Unfortunately, this one really didn’t work for me all that well.
Both of the main characters were awfully annoying, rude, bland, mean and just plain unlikable. I didn’t care about them at all and they mostly got on my nerves.
Their relationship was also awkward, hostile, superficial, and once again, I didn’t like it.
The exhibitionism and voyeurism stuff was really weird and uncomfortable; Spencer’s peeping through windows while non-consensually (and without Cory’s knowledge) watching Cory jerk off or have sex with someone else had me cringing. And then when they started doing the “jerking off in the window” thing together like a kink? Still yikes.
But honestly, everything in this book was just far too sex- or lust-based in general. There was no depth to be found here whatsoever.
And if it couldn’t get any worse, the writing itself was genuinely boring. It was somehow simultaneously dragged out as well as hurried. With this I mean to say that the story just would not move along, but then suddenly, when something remotely interesting, sweet or romantic would happen, we’d just skip over it. It was odd and annoying.
Oh, and the writing also generally lacked feeling. It was flat, simple and detached.
The only interesting thing I was looking forward to here was the bet reveal and the subsequent grovelling, but not even that entertained me.
In the end, I obviously just wasn’t into this. And I’m disappointed by that.
