Bet You

A classic "makes a bet to seduce a guy and falls for him". It was actually ridiculously sweet and much less angsty than I expected. It truly felt like the characters were mature enough to realize that they had made (at different point) a mistake. The banter was also delightful, it was truly fun to see the slow winning over (and as a reader it is clear that the bet is quickly forgotten).

Nacho-s, mine

“Wow, wish I’d known earlier that a man in costume is a Spencer Crowe cheat code.” I have to hand it to Spencer, he has a deviously clever mind and entrancing hobbies, and who wouldn’t be tempted when it involves Cory, who is completely charming and irresistible. A fun read, full of snark and heat. No costumes needed to enjoy it, but I do wish this book came with graphics, rawr.

Liked, didn't love - sometimes there's just not enough conflict in these KU romances. I liked the characters but there wasn't much substance to the story.

This was better than the last book, but the bet trope is so overdone.

Spencer and Cory were so fun to read! Their back and forth banter and silly games, turning to something sweet and sincere.

Though, things started with Spencer losing it at Cory for taking his park and Cory’s friends betting him he couldn’t bed Spencer. Try as Spencer might, Cory worms his way into being his friend and then some - with a steamy dressing room BJ to boot!

Things are getting more serious when Spencer finds out about the bet and is hurt and won’t talk to Cory.

Things have a way of coming together though, as they do! Lots of laughs, fun story and lovely spice in this one!
