We've read this before since we own it, but I cannot remember the last time. Lu liked the repetition of "Nutbrown hare" and the stretching arms.

This was the first book I received after I announced my pregnancy, so it holds a special place for us! Plus it's an adorable book. I also received the baby book and bought the soft crinkle version of the book too!
Perennial family fave. I love introducing old

friends to my youngest.
This is another classic picture book that I have somehow not read. This one is just so sweet, especially since there's an emphasis on the love between the father and the child. It is so often that the sweet parent-child relationships focus on the mother and the child. I really liked that aspect as well as the playful tone. Lovely.
For: readers wanting a sweet book about a father-child relationship.
Possible red flags: some readers may find the book too repetitive or predictable; some readers may be bothered by the absence of the maternal figure.

This is a good book, but it can be tedious saying "Nutbrown Hare" over and over when reading it aloud.
An extraordinarily sweet book that is an especially wonderful, short and simple read for children at bedtime. Told through the eyes of two cute, brown bunnies, the tale's illustrations add to the overall heartwarming message of the love between parent and child. A must read for those who love, both young and old.

Excellent story featuring Little Brown Hare who is showing Big Brown Hare how much he loves him, but Big Brown Hare can always do it bigger.
