I loved this - short, sweet, and to the point. It was the perfect reentry into the world and lore of The Daughter of the Moon Goddess and it made me really want to reread the original duology. The writing was just as beautiful as the duology and showed, if possible, even more passion and reverence for the original folklore. 

I loved getting the perspectives of other main characters and filling in some gaps of events we knew occurred but didn't get to experience. The epilogue especially...oh my heart. 

If you love the DOTMG duology, you'll adore this. If you haven't read the duology yet.....what are you waiting for??

I can’t believe it’s over :’’’’( I’m gonna mis them so much. I love this world, the characters the writing. My jaw dropped and I felt several punches to the chest while reading this.

It was really enjoyable to get the POVs of different characters. It felt like taking a Look behind the scenes. Its a Collection of short stories, including prequels, deleated scenes and the best short story was the Epilogue for the duology at the end. I felt as if an open ending had been created that possibly promises even more to come. The illustrations in the book were also very beautiful and made reading this book even more fun. I would definitely recommend the book to everyone who read the Celestial Kingdom duology.
