Wow! This book is just so great. I was trying to savor the pictures and go slowly, but the story is so compelling and amazingly true I rushed threw. Going to take some tie to go back and really appreciate the art work.

Very close to 5 stars. Incredible story.

I enjoyed this graphic novel immensely, the graphic representations of blindness and how it would feel to experience blindness were beautiful. Based on a true story which involves mystery, coming of age, true crime, and philosophy. I don't want to give anything away just read it!

4.5 stars. Blair's illustrations are beautiful and the story is riveting. Having read "For the Thrill of it," I found this book fascinating in terms of what is redeemable within even the worst of humanity. This is the best sort of graphic novel; one where either the art or story could stand in their own, but work together so brilliantly.
dark emotional hopeful sad medium-paced

This an epic story of crime, fathers and sons, secrets, and Dante’s Inferno. I think it’s destined to be one of the classic graphic novels.

Wow! What an incredible true story.

The art was beautiful and the story was so interesting! I grew confused sometimes but otherwise this was a great read.

juste excellent. Les illustrations sont brillantes et au niveau de l'histoire. J'étais prise dans l'histoire (même si je n'avais jamais entendu parlé avant ma lecture de ces evenements)
j'ai même envie de lire Dante maintenant
