This book was ok. Interesting but not fascinating if that makes sense. I liked the characters but didn't like that I could see what was going to happen before the end.

More like 3.5!!

Absolutely loved this new installment in the Rainie & Quincy series!! Was a whirlwind read, I thought I knew "whodunnit" but the story would take a twist and I'd be completely wrong, which is Awesome!! Definite need to read book!!

I liked this book. It's the only one I've been able to finish before it's due back to the library since school started back up, so it must have sucked me in! The plot reminded me of something that would be on an episode of Criminal Minds- foster kids, grew up abused, nature/nurture, heavy on the profiling, etc.

Entertaining in that it kept my interest, but some of the plot points seemed too good to be true and were a bit of a stretch in my opinion. I get that it's fiction, but this had more hard-to-believe-would-ever-actually-happen moments than in other mysteries I've read.

Anoh

Another great Quincy and Rainie whodunit. Can't wait for the next one.

I didn't want to finish this book, because I enjoyed it so much. However, I wanted to know what happened next. I loved this book and recommend it to all. Lisa Gardner at her best!
I loved the idea of a serial killer, foster care kids (due to my work) and the characters of Quincy and Rainie who are just so deep and complex.

I hope she writes more with these 2 new characters as well
