I LOVED THIS BOOK. It was awesome and amazing and I loved it with all my heart. I wasn’t sure about the writing style at the beginning, but by the end, I was loving every second of it.
A nice slow-burn thriller. It kept me guessing through out and although I hate stories being totally tied up in the end, I am glad I know the "after".
Taut, exciting thriller that holds its secrets close, revealing them very slowly while building character and tension. A brother and sister escape their terrible home life into an equally tragic series of foster families until each, separately, finds a stable home. And then trouble finds them although neither they nor we are quite sure why. This is one of those books that just can't be put down once started, so plan on reading it straight through. i found this book very slow to start but once it picked up i was fully invested. i love the family relationships in this book and i was so shocked by the mystery. ok bye
A lot of twist kept me interested throughout this book. I never saw it coming, as they say. I highly recommend.

Perfect for what it was. A great murder mystery book.
This book is really good, gripping from beginning to end and I loved the backstory of the characters. Unexpected but making sense plot twist/resolution. I really enjoyed it and will be looking to read other of Lisa Gardner books.
