I wish I could do 3.5 stars
I think I need to go back and read the Amgash series in order. Technically these are stand alone, but I think it would be a richer reading experience if I did them in order.
This book is for those who like DEEP character development and subtlety mixed with startling clarity and vulnerability. You never really know what will be coming, which is sort of like life, right?

Thank you to NetGalley for this golden opportunity to read Oh William! Elizabeth Stout is a Junoesque writer and the Lucy Barton series is just Junoesque.
Oh William! follows My Name is Lucy Barton and Anything is Possible, and is third in the series and it isn't my favorite in the Lucy Barton series, But this book is pretty much perfect. Elizabeth Stout has such a way with words, I think Elizabeth is magnificent.
We’re back in Lucy Barton’s head (and what a treat that is) Lucy joins her first husband William — still each other’s best and oldest friend despite many years divorced.

A bit of a run-on sentence of a book. And I can’t remember for sure whether I read the previous one/s, which then were sort of half nagging at the back of my brain throughout, which was annoying.

Her writing is amazing as always. But somehow I’m always left wanting more.

Five stars because I would definitely read this again. And maybe a time after that. And every time I would get something new from it. :)
