I liked this book surprisingly more than I thought I would. It was gifted to me as a form of 'mystery read' as it isn't the kind of book I would usually read.

But saying that, I enjoyed it. Easy, melodramic, lighthearted (most of the time).

The characters are likable....sometimes. Landon is a big softie. Not my ideal book boyfriend but I wouldn't kick him out of bed.

Spicy but not too awkward. The plot was still there surrounding the spice, which is appreciated.

Having gone in blind, not having read the earlier books it was surprisingly easy to catch up. I will definitely be getting the After series as Hardin sounds perfect for me....

All in all, a nice read. Unlikely to re-read, but had a nice time all the same.

I will say its a bit cringey sometimes and a bit too idealistic. The ending is very 'happily ever after.' Hmmm...

I am so happy with how Landon's story ends. This series (including After) has been an emotional rollercoaster and I am finally done the ride... But I don't want to get off and I want to ride it again and again. It will suck you in and leave you angry, happy, and exhausted. I need more Tessa, Hardin and Landon in my life.

Also weird having to picture the nerdy Landon as a sexual being

I loved Landon's story so much. Wasn't such a freaking crazy freight train of a rude and so welcoming. I read his story inbetween Hardin and Tessa's and it was a much needed break from their chaos.

much more enjoyable than nothing more, predictable ending but a fun and lighthearted romance read nonetheless

Loved this little spin-off series. Getting to know Landon better was so nice. Learning about everything that happens in these two books was confusing but fun. The twist was not expected to be the way it was but it was very enjoyable to read!

I really liked this book but I feel like I'm now left with so many questions. It was a good end to Landon's story though. I fell like nothing more kind of dragged on a bit but this felt like it went faster and answered some of the questions I had... Only to leave me with more questions. You wouldn't have had to have read the after series first to read these books. But I think it might help. I still enjoyed the series
