Rekommenderas!

Lagom förutsägbar och lättsam. Perfekt sommarläsning.

I've read a few of Lucy Diamond's books now and always look forward to them as I find their characters to be authentic and intriguing, which keeps me coming back for more. However, when I first began reading this book, I just didn't find it as intriguing as I would have thought. I felt that the characters were lacking depth, something that I noticed was not the case in Lucy's other books. Also, I felt that the author kept switching from one character to another, without much of an explanation, which was a tad confusing. I also felt it difficult to really fall in love with the characters in this novel, as I knew so little about them, and was unable to really form a connection with their feelings. Although I did love the premises of the plot itself, where a group of women come together whom have been sharing a home, unknown to them that they would form lifelong friendships which would stay true through all of life's ups and downs. I will continue to read Lucy's books in the future however, just didn't think this was one of the best I would consider.
