It was cute and I loved the Italian vibes, makes me want to go back asap. I enjoyed how it was about overcoming loss and grief in a different way and not focused on romance. It was sweet and hit home. A super quick listen too

I liked the concept of the book but I’m still slightly confused. Did she go back in time? Fever dream? I did like that I felt like I was there with them, from the food to the scenery. I didn’t like Katy, she was horrible to her husband who was there for her from the start. He cared and supported her during the loss of her mother and she went and cheated on him. Katy was selfish and only cared about herself. I have four stars because the author done an amazing job at putting me in the scenery and the concept.

The only positives in this book are Eric and the Italian vibes and scenery. The way Katy treats Eric is so trash, she tells him she doesnt wanna be with him and needs to go to Italy alone to be and feel close to her mom, and then has an affair?? And dont even get me started on this dependancy she has on her mom and how upset she was to find out her mom had a life before her?? My good sis you are almost 30 and the fact that you do not know how to be your own person without your mom is wild. Also saying "if your mother is the greatest love of your life, what does that make your husband?" makes you look wack. They couldve showed this mother daughter love and bond in so many other ways.

It was a cute little story but didn’t pull me in as much as I would have liked.

Not 100% sure how I feel about this one. I loved Lauren Graham’s narration, the magical realism, and the descriptions of the food and landscape of the Amalfi Coast. But I just kept expecting the Adam plot line to go somewhere different and the cheating didn’t sit well with me.

“There's something about photography I love- a whole memory caught in a moment.”

“History, memory is by definition fiction. Once an event is no longer present, but remembered, it is narrative. And we can choose the narratives we tell—about our own lives, our own stories, our own relationships. We can choose the chapters we give meaning.”
