Cash's father has been murdered outside of the casino empire that he owns. The only man Cash can see for the job is his fathers biggest rival. He decides to take and torture his eldest son for information, except he comes across a pretty big problem. Jordyn is a woman, and an absolute smoke-show at that.

I really wanted to love this one. The chemistry was alive and burning, the writing itself was interesting and well done, but the pace was wild. They were in love within a few days of her being kidnapped by him, and it was so rapid I couldn't relate. They didn't know each other, and yet he's choosing a nickname for her the minute they meet, and using it 170 times over the course of the 315 page book. I'm not sure it matters what the nickname was overall, just the sheer amount it was used ripped me out of the story. The dialogue was held back by being so repetitious, as the interactions started to edge into formulaic with the nickname, along with secondary nicknames slid into it so often. From there, their relationship progresses multiple levels at breakneck speed with no outside force pushing them towards it to set that pace, which just felt so strange to have it move so fast.
The daddy kink and humiliation kinks were done well though, suspending belief that they could get to that level of trust and intimacy that quickly, and it made for spicy if not somewhat surprising scenes due to the MMC's possessiveness, yet willingness to openly punish her. Again, I genuinely enjoyed the writing, the overall plot and the characters, I just didn't enjoy the book itself, which left me in a weird spot on how to review it. Did i burn through this in a single sitting? Yes. Would I tell people they had to read it? I'm not sure that I would.
Overall it was enjoyable, but I think it was too illogical and rushed for me when it came to the timeline their relationship developed. I do think others will genuinely love this novel though, especially if they enjoy instant love and the nickname "kitten."

ARC review: this is the start to another great series from Kate Oliver. I was already a big fan of her Syndicate Kings series, and Savage Revenge has a similar feel and similar tropes to those books.
Savage Revenge follows Cash Savage, the eldest of four Savage brothers, whose father was recently killed in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. Cash suspects Thomas Kingston, a rival casino owner, and decides to kidnap Thomas' daughter Jordyn as revenge and to get answers about his father's murder.
I absolutely loved Jordyn and Cash together. They have so much chemistry and they play off of each other so well. The ddlg dynamic works well between them without feeling forced or cheesy.
There's a lot of great banter between Jordyn and Cash, and even between Cash and his brothers, and Jordyn and the other Savage brothers. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Savage Sins books to see how their relationships continue to develop - I'm hoping the dynamic winds up being similar to the Syndicate Kings where all the FMC have their own little girl gang, which is super cute.
Overall, it was a great story. Plenty of action and twists to balance out the spice and to maintain the quick pace of the book.

✨ARC Review✨This book was so good I literally read it all in one sitting, I could not put it down! The book opens with Cash and his brothers at their father’s funeral. It is immediately apparent that despite their ruthless reputation they are close and love each other. Family is everything to them, and the fact that their father was not only murdered but was shot in the back has them hellbent on revenge.
Jordyn is the FMC and it is impossible not to love her immediately. She is intelligent and feisty, and when the Savage brothers break into her apartment thinking they are going to be kidnapping their rival’s son in search of answers, they get a rude awakening.
The chemistry between Cash and Jordyn lights up from the moment they lay eyes on each other. They both fight it, wanting to hate each other, but just can’t. It’s not so much banter between them as snark and I am here for it! Jordyn gives Cash as good as she gets, which makes when she submits to him all that more important to him. I love that he calls her kitten from the very beginning, not even realizing how hard and fast he’s falling. Cash is the very definition of a possessive alpha and it is hot. 🥵 Over the course of Jordyn’s “stay” at Cash’s house the pull between them becomes too much to resist.
At the same time, Cash and his brothers are still looking for answers, trying to find Jordyn’s father as they believe he is the one who murdered theirs. The story absolutely sucks you in, the spice is SO sexy, Cash’s dirty talk? 🥵 the plot twist? 😳 I would definitely go back and read this again, so be a good girl for Daddy and pre-order 😉 #daddykink #kidnapping #revenge #agegap #possessivemmc #enemiestolovers #touchheranddie #savagerevenge #savagesins @kate.oliver.books

Thank you for the ARC opportunity Kate Oliver and The Author Agency - I liked the Savage brothers a lot.
There is a lot to like with this book, there are the darker themes but it’s not the darkest of romances but check your triggers as there is the whole kidnapping trope amongst others.
The Savage brothers are so interesting. Cash is the MMC of this story and he is everything that you expect him to be - slightly dark, tortured with a daddy kink and he doesn’t care who knows it 😉. He is torn between his need for revenge and his desire for the FMC (and she is great).
Loved Jordyn as the FMC. She is strong and feisty. She is determined and she is happy to tell Cash and his brothers exactly what she thinks.
The other supporting characters are brilliant too. I can not wait for the other books about the brothers and I hope that other characters will feature again particularly Caleb.

This was a decent dark romance with some Beauty and the Beast vibes. It was a billionaire romance with a hint of mafia. The MMC, Cash, finds himself at the helm of his family’s casino business in Las Vegas after his father was murdered. The FMC, Jordyn, is the daughter of a rival family, working but never quite receiving her father’s approval because she happens to be a woman. Thinking that Jordyn’s father was their father’s murderer, Cash and his brothers decide to pay his “son” a visit and find Jordyn instead. Rather than hurting a woman, Cash decides to kidnap Jordyn until she gives him the information they are looking for. There are some BDSM elements but no safe words, which missed the mark for me. It was satisfying and quick read, but not a favorite of mine. I would still probably read the next one.
