I only gave away 2 stars because Dawn makes a pretty tough protagonist. Otherwise, this book was pure agony. Do not recommend.

I loved it! I may have found another author to have as a must own! This is rare for me, I love my books, but to find one I actually want to keep is far between!! I am glad I stumbled upon it!

Wow,Kathryn Smith writes in a whole new voice - contemporary. The plot and characters are fresh and intriguing. A contemporary from the voice of an historical author rich in descriptive passages of modern day New York and a dream world filled with nightmares. Relatable dialoge, descriptive passages and a hero and a heroine that have more questions then there are answers. Looking forward to more from this series.

Because of a misunderstanding, this book made it into the youth shelve in my library and I read it, expecting just another young adult fantasy romance novel. Well, it's not young adult fiction. It is erotica.
And it's not even good. I mean, well, if you like non-consensual acts, maybe... and if you don't have a problem with women that somehow enjoy rape, that is. If you still want to read it, I can only give you a strong trigger warning - but really, don't waste your time with it.
