2022 review
I think Yosano's still adorable, but it's obvious she's still just a child. From one angle, her being from the countryside adds to her innocence while her age gives her this delicate youth. She's in a point of constant change and falling in love with someone who's ultimately unobtainable is a huge point of growth. In a short period of time, she must navigate a lot of emotions.

In all though, I don't think I can enjoy this series as much as I could when I was younger, purely because I'm not possessed by my under-developed brain. Actually being aware that teacher-student relationships aren't slice of life/taboo/cutting-edge, "wow, emotions!", but instead they're just gross makes this series hard to read.

The love interest is cute and he's a good love interest, yes. But for someone his own age.

2018 review
All the romances are pretty cute, but they still have so much room for growth and development so I'm excited/nervous to see where things go from here. I really like Yosano though, she is so adorable.

This one made me feel sad. The heartbreak and the overall turmoil of the situation made me want to cry. She confessed, properly this time and he said he was sorry. Yet I BET HE DOESN'T WANT TO SAY SORRY. HE'S JUST CONFLICTED BECAUSE HIS EX IS BACK AND HE IS A TEACHER AND SHE'S A STUDENT! Ugh. As for the whole cold guy, he confessed to her too. AT THE WORST TIMING MIGHT I ADD. COME ON DUDE GET A GRIP THIS GIRL JUST WENT THROUGH A REJECTION. UGH. I'm so mad and sad at the same time. My ship will sail. Even if I have to rebuild it and restart, it will sail. I swear.

The whole reveal with her true emotions cliff-hanger, ugh! So heart trembling. This definitely is raising some red flags with the teacher's reactions. It'll be interesting to see how this continues.

Mamura seemed so out of character but still, dammnnnnnn feelssssssss what have I gotten myself into? I know this is going to be one heck of a frustrating love triangle

Should I read this manga if it's geared toward people who like a specific romance that happens to be problematic? Eh, but I still will. I think this genre is for certain people and maybe I'm not in that circle, but I'll share my thoughts from this perspective.

Woo boy. Spoilers Ahead.

First off, a high schooler isn't a rival for someone in their mid-twenties. Nope. No ma'am. The ex is just painted as the "other woman" who's a bitch, but that's so overplayed. She's probably decent. I mean what woman would see a teenager as "the other woman"?

It's a brave thing to confess to someone with the likelyhood of being rejected. Teach did the right thing in rejecting her. Doesn't make him a good guy, it's the right thing to do.

Side note: If I did this to a teacher I had a crush on I would be dead. The sheer cringe every time I remembered would be painful. I would actively try to hypnotize the memory out of my brain. Anyway...

"You should have fallen in love with me" -that's a good line Mamura. Can't talk to girls but has these smooth lines just falling out of his mouth. Maybe he watched too many dramas.

It ended with sensei looking like he has feelings for Suzume. Plz lord no. He is not a contestant in this game of high-school love.
