My favourite part about the story was that this fantasy world felt so unique to me. The dragon eggs and the magic, loved it. This is also a standalone, so it has what I consider a happy ending. Read this if you love a fantasy that focuses on romance.

I really wish I liked this book more cause the blurb sounded like this would definitely be for me, but the characters and plot just kinda fell flat for me. The characters were kinda meh and it took so long for the plot to move along. I see why some people may like it, but it was just not for me.

The queen delivers yet again - Karina is an author I will always read and there hasnโt been anything from her that I havenโt enjoyed. I have been SO excited for this one, the concept of magic, mafia and dragons sounded so good and Iโm happy to say that it absolutely hit the mark. The romance was spot on, the canine sidekick was an instant love and the action was 10/10. I cannot wait for my reread so I can see what tidbits I missed, now that I know what happens. 100% recommend this one!
