From being the U.K. version of Judge Judy, looks like Rob Rinder is taking on being a slightly comical version of John Grisham. Some of the storyline does require a bit of suspension of disbelief, but also some of the tales from Chambers sound very on the money. A bit “first novel” in terms of rather heavy-handed characterisation, particularly of the pupil master but looking forward to reading his next one.
