I enjoyed the mystery of this, and I was kept guessing until the end! I like books from the law's point of view, such as the Eddie Flynn books, and this was a good story. It kept me listening, and the narrator was good. I did find the writing not quite to my taste at points, but I couldn't exactly explain why. This won't stop me from continuing the series though, as I liked the characters (the mum was funny). A good start to the series.
