Oh my goodness, what an amazing book! Immediately I identified with Rebecca. It was wonderful to read my way through her mind as she puzzled out life. I understood so much!
To watch her fall in love and the fear and delight that brought, I remembered. The way she tucked her emotions away to look at issues, I remembered. The warmth of discovery, I remembered.
So much joy and memories in one book. I loved it!

i seriously love this book so much. the flashback scenes are a bit annoying after rereading this book so many times, they seem a bit redundant. but rebecca is a brilliant character and shane is so so sweet, i love it all

the man on this cover is NOT the sexy man shane mackade is described to me... what gives publishing company? why do nora like this.
this was a fun time we had a nerdy girl who didn't give FUCK about shane and he was just so overwhelmed w love but he didnt know what to do with it so he was just irritating her. a good vibe.
also the journey of reading this whole series has reminded me of that time a ya author accusing THE NORA ROBERTS of plagiarizing from her debut release despite the title being like every other fantasy ya release rn like.... damn girl... read the room... miss nora roberts is out here churning out like hundreds of romance novels she cannot be beat!!!
