Joan Didion’s fiction is always a bit weird and this one is no exception. I loved the writing and the way she reveals things slowly about the characters. Her fiction has details like a journalist, but I like it better in essay form.

I already know I'm now going to have to pick up every thing Joan Didion has ever written.
