I absolutely loved it! Such an awesome book. My first book by Emily Henry. She really knows how to keep you turning pages. I finished the book in like 2 days and I can't wait to buy my next one by her.

Poppy is Girl Best Friend Final Boss™

i don’t know if it was the week of jet lag and general tiredness that affected it, but some parts of this book felt *very* long, specifically the flashbacks. i actually think i started enjoying it more with the angst at the end but maybe i really am a sadist

I really wanted to love this book, but I found myself struggling to get through it. I enjoyed the friendship between Poppy and Alex - it felt genuine and sweet - but when it came to the romance, their chemistry just didn’t work for me. It felt a bit too forced, like the story was trying to convince me they belonged together instead of letting it happen naturally. The travel setting was fun, but overall, it didn’t fully pull me in.
