In het begin had ik wat moeite met de te Hollandse vertaling maar gaandeweg werd het boek hilarischer.

Work sucks

Interesting, quick read... not super deep, but engaging.  The technical memos intersperse  within the story felt a bit odd

My first Bukowski. Read it in a day. Enjoyed the crass observations and was hooked for the depraved ride. Don't know how I interpreted anything.

Horrendous and lame

Post Office is evidence that Bukowski is a fantastic writer... but it's also evidence that a lot of his storytelling (particularly the stuff of "edgier" nature) was probably a precursor for fratire so...

There is a type of “intellectual man” who will prattle on about how this is the greatest fucking thing since sliced bread. He’ll give it four stars, cuz he’s “intellectual,” but he’ll go on and on about it being great, and honey, I just want you to know he’s a walking, talking red flag. This novel is shit. It’s a novel, today, for the “intellectual man” who doesn’t think he’s misogynist, but is hella misogynist. Barf.
funny sad fast-paced
