I’m so unwell after that ending but what a wild ride this trilogy has been. The unique system of magic and gods is unlike any I’ve ever read. The diversity of the characters (queer, disabled, POC) was the cherry on top to a story well crafted in character arcs and plot. I can’t believe I’ll never get the experience of reading this series for the first time again 😭

Comma splicing galore throughout this entire trilogy, although it doesn't detract from the story or my enjoyment of it.

What did upset me was an unnecessary end of a beloved and wholesome character for no reason other than to make an already heartbroken and conflicted character even sadder. - 0.5 stars for this alone. I'll be upset about it forever.
RIP Legs, a fine and wonderful horse who went through some SHIT in the first two books only to be killed off in a two-line moment that was all for nothing. And then the author kept on reminding us of his death just to hammer the point that he definitely absolutely couldn't have escaped. I will never emotionally recover from this. #justiceforlegs
