Absolutely fascinating. Much easier to read than I thought it would be.

For a reading challenge I had to read the book that has been on my to-read list the longest. When I pulled up my Goodreads, lo and behold there was "The Travels." I was a bit wary of it, but I know I added this when I read The Muqaddimah which I very much enjoyed. When I first started this book I was a bit nervous as it is written a bit dry and straightforward. Soon though, the thought of stepping into all these different cultures in the 13th century really fascinated me. I found myself digging more into these cultures (as well as the veracity of Polo's claims). 2018 Reading Women Challenge - The book that has been on your TBR the longest
