It is very interesting, really made me stop and think about our use of technology and how we view ourselves and others through it.

I found this book boring from the get-go. Made it two chapters and gave up. It’s a no from me.

I made a soft resolution to spend less time on social media in 2020. Or maybe it's to be smarter about how I spend my time on social media. Anyways, the first book I read this year is a delightful dystopian take on social media, sharing, and our internet-obsessed culture. (It's like my own personal cautionary-ish tale.) Well written and entertaining as heck.

Some interesting ideas in the book but I never felt a connection to the characters and it felt a bit like a slog to read.

I found the pacing slow and vapid. I  ended up feeling bored.

I really enjoyed this book! It may sound strange to say that a dystopian book like this one can also be funny and heartwarming but this was! Like a black mirror episode with plenty of soul. An intricate, fast-paced plot, excellent character development, and a consuming read. Would recommend!

It was a good read, poignant, perhaps about the way technology has taken over our lives. But nothing we don’t know. And peeps a bit depressing, even if the ending is hopeful. It’s more of an exploratory novel than anything else, about human nature, and chasing dreams and being content with the ordinary things, with being alone and offline.

Yes! This was so damn good!
