Every character was so unpleasant and unlikeable, it was a slow and grinding read. Everyone was a manic pixie nightmare

The book is an interesting read, I didn't have much preconceptions apart from a couple of quick glances at others people's though it's on it. Looking for Alaska features quite poignant and powerful messages, the 'escaping of the Labyrinth' and the 'Great Perhaps'. I think the ending to the book concluded the story to Miles and his story with Alaska very nicely.
This book is my all time favorite book. I know that the target audience is mainly teenagers and it’s also not as well written as other books are. However, I read it for the first time when I was 15 and ever since it has a place in my heart. The story, characters, and the setting mean so incredibly much to me. I think about this book a lot. It really shaped me and who I am today.
'sometimes you loose a battle, but mischief always wins the war' - alaska young

I read this book when I was very young like maybe 16 years old. I recalled that I finished this book in 2 hours. I was so fascinated with the book. This book got me riding emotionally roller coaster. The humors, friendships, and love in it were so powerful and heartwarming.
I cried when I get to “XX Days After” because it’s crazy how I started with XX Days Before and unknowingly what will happens. Losing a friend is hard, especially when the friendship bond becomes so strong and feels so secured then all sudden it’s gone.
In 2019, I understood what it feels like to lose someone to suicide. When I learned about this, I thought of this book and finally understood how Miles and Chip felt when they lost Alaska.
It’s worth to read and John wrote a very good book.

Gosh dang it John Green why you gotta do that to my heart. Also, I think anytime I listen to Will Wheaton narrating, I will just assume it's another book from the "Ready Player One" universe.
