What It’s About: Winnie has lived her life in fear of succumbing to the family illness, but when the myth her mother told her about Peter Pan turns out to be true, she heads to Neverland and finds herself in store for something very different.

Spice Level: This one gets pretty hot pretty fast, but steer clear if you don’t like it in groups.

Realism: This is a really interesting take on the Peter Pan story. I like how each element is twisted, but still reminiscent of the original. Yes, it’s a story with fae and supernatural/paranormal happenings and all that, but the lore is solid and the plot holds up.

Trope Alert: Big why choose alert and obvious bad boy and dark romance vibes.

Trigger Warnings: Winnie has a bit of a traumatic past because of her mom trying to save her from Peter Pan, and there’s quite a bit of violence.

Final Thoughts: I didn’t know I needed a sexy Peter Pan retelling in my life, but this was recommended to me by a friend and I was immediately hooked. It’s perfect proof that sometimes you don’t know what you want to read until you’re reading it.
