This one took me a little to get into, but it was definitely worth it. The last 50 pages or so really solidified the rating for me - overall a satisfying, fun, but also disturbing read!

5 - first read in 2018, second read in 2024. This book is so good and still a favorite. I love the authors writing and the way he develops/fleshes out his characters, they are so dear to me. He is so good at making you just the right amount of comfortable before sending you a reality check on the horrors of war.
