“Oh my dear Miss Everdeen. I thought we had agreed not to lie to each other.”
Believe me I didn’t want to give it such a low rating either...
Katniss did shine sometimes but it felt like this was a different version of Katniss. Yes I know about PTSD and healing, one of my favorite books is [b:A Court of Mist and Fury|50659468|A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)|Sarah J. Anyway back to the point it felt like we were on the sidelines a lot... I felt so bad for Peeta and I get Katniss but the love triangle annoyed me so much. I thought the previous book did it better but in this it was just plain annoying.
Also in previous books it felt like a huge deal when people died but here it wasn’t and I was honestly sick of the amount of propos that were done.

The sheer amount of times Katniss tries to kill Peeta—was this the same Katniss who was ready to sacrifice herself for him? I’m not saying she should, but doing these things and then saying she loves him or protects him... the cognitive dissonance is staggering.
