My 2nd audiobook this fall on the theme of "historical woman accept their outsider-witchiness". I did like this a lot - I thought the author avoided tropes for the characters for the most part and the slowly unfolding collapse of the main character's hopes for a "normal" life was tragic but also freeing.

I DNF'd this. I got a little furthe  than 100 pages in and nothing interesting happened. The main character was interesting enough, but the plot was too slow-paced for me.
