For me the true horror in this book is psychological terror of being a woman and being a lesbian tbh. It has a fairly slow first half but once it picks up boy does it really pick up. The ending was a little mixed for me because I feel it was a little on the nose but I understood what it was going for and I overall enjoyed this book.

Why is all of the "female rage" in this story directed almost singularly towards other women and girls? The premise reads like it wants to be empowering and wickedly indulgent but it's just internally misogynistic and self-absorbed to the point of being tone deaf.
