My first Lucinda Berry book and I really took the plunge with this one

I have so many mixed emotions on this book if I’m going to be completely honest.. The graphic scenes made me feel absolutely ill.. the story was heartbreaking..

Despite the subjects that this book touches it, it opens your eyes to the reality of things

I’m definitely going to try another Lucinda Berry book.. try and find one not so dark.. In the mean time, after this book and the Hungry Dark, I’m going to find a cosy autumn book to read
