A tragic but well written story. Interesting dive into the minds of two different victims.

The kidnapping serial killer is not the one to watch for in this book! In a true Berry vein the most grotesque and cruel characters in this book are the ones who think they understand, care for and love the protagonist. This book, like other Berry books, brings you to some dark psychological places! The scary thing in this novel is not the serial killer, but those who are closest to home!
