This book is definitely her darkest one. It covers some heavy topics - rape, loss of innocence, stockholm syndrome, toxic codependency, child abuse & brainwashing, alcoholism, self harm / destruction etc.
Ultimately it was a good read but definitely heavier stuff.

This book was like a Criminal Minds episode and I LOVE Criminal Minds. So disturbing and there were times where I questioned why I was reading it but I couldn’t put it down. I feel like I need to blast some happy music and take a long hot shower to cleanse me from what I just read. In the best way possible of course.
