~I received a free copy of this book for my honest review~

Definitely a psychological trip! My Abigail is a YA thriller focusing on a high school boy (Caleb) who’s been dumped by his parents and gets bullied at school. He doesn’t like much about his life, except for a girl named Abigail. She’s his light, the purpose of his life, but something isn’t quite right about her. The more Caleb learns about Abigail, the stranger his life becomes. This is a captivating read, pulling you in from the very beginning and holds you until the end, delivering all the secrets with a punch. Would recommend to anyone who’s a fan of suspenseful writing!

David's words of thanking his teachers, friends and family brought a smile to my face. But that smile was quickly wiped off and it was replaced with curiosity and intrigue as I wanted to know Abigail's secret. I was not ready when the puzzle pieces came together and the subsequent events that followed. It has the right amount of twists and turns and the pacing allows you to get to know each character.
I found it very hard to put this book down and though I found peace with the ending, it did leave an element of sadness and numbness.
A shoutout to VoraciousReadersOnly for giving me a free review copy of this book.

My Abigail was an amazing book that kept me turning the pages from cover to cover. There were some very thrilling moments throughout that really brought My Abigail to life. David used many detailed words that drew images in my mind. His writing brings all of the characters to life, especially Caleb, Abigail and Damian. David certainly knows how to take your breath away with his power of words.

What is Abigail's Secret?

This story will definitely keep you glued to each word of every page. It's a thrilling, and I emphasize the word thrilling, story about Abigail. There is something special and creepy about this story, and about Abigail. This story can be dark, and unsettling, but there is something about Caleb's friendship with Abigail. Some parts of the story didn't quite fit together, but it was filled with twists and turns, and unpredictability. Kummer is a young writer who is honing his craft, and I expect good things to come from him and his stories.

If you enjoy books with ambiguous endings, then this is for you. While the book seemed extremely predictable from the very first page, it ends telling us that in order to find out the real resolution we need to purchase another novella. Seriously? As curious as I am to find out if my theories are correct about what this book is actually about, I'm more annoyed at having to purchase another book to find out.

I received a copy of this book through Voracious Readers Only and the author David. I’ll start by saying that this book was out of my normal
reading comfort zone but that ended up being a good thing. It was a very quick read and also very engaging and enjoyable!
