Sullivan's writing is incredible. I can't even. The world building, the characters. Everything I said about the last book and more.

Instead of dragging things out or throwing in ridiculous plot problems that made me groan, everything was fast paced, interesting, and NECESSARY, capturing my attention and making me want to know what happens next.

I'm very excited to read the third volume in the series.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys complex fantasy.

Part III: Nyphron Rising & Part IV: The Emerald Storm

Things seem to get a bit more serious in this installment, but still the humor carries it through. The characters really grow on you.

I devoured this. This is so much fun!
