this book was alright and then the epilogue ruined it. too perfect of a bow in a really annoying way that just didn’t feel realistic…I wish it was a more open ended closure. also just felt like tyson’s character was really lacking, undeveloped and didn’t really have any type of growth that I thought he deserved…maybe don’t write this character if you can’t relate?…i dunno. i appreciate calling attention to mental health, suicide awareness and the power of friendships but truly the ending was infuriating to me

Started and ended great. Everything between the first and last chapters was meh.

I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. I knew about halfway through how things would end up, but the storyline was well thought out. The book is just lacking some kind of spark or “it factor” for me, and maybe it was because all of the characters had too many issues?

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC.

This was good, but not great. I overall enjoyed the unique friendship group, and the university friendships-turned adult friendships. But alas. Not amazing by any means.

This was an easy way to spend a Sunday afternoon—a pretty easy read compared to my usual choices. Having said that, I liked it! I enjoyed the friendship between Hannah, Lainey and Tyson. Does the book end up with them essentially insulated? Absolutely. But it was enjoyable to watch them grow from college through early 30’s. And now I need to go to Capri…
