This was a wild ride, though a rather disorganized one. It was interesting to hear Elliot tell their story in their own words (literally, as I listened to the audio book). Could have benefited a lot from some more structure, as it rambled a lot, but overall I was worth reading.

I feel like it’s almost impossible not to give a memoir 5 stars, simply because it is someone else’s life experience, and how am I to judge that? But this one was very good. It highlights the importance of being kind to everyone, especially those in the LGBT+ community. I enjoyed hearing Elliot narrate his own audiobook because I could hear the emotions in his voice throughout the book.

A beautifully written account of Page's intensely personal story and path to living as his true self. It took me a little while to get into his writing style, but once it was familiar to me I could not get enough of this book. Highly recommend listening, as Page narrates it himself and I always love to hear memoirs from the person's own voice. So well done.
