I could have done with less specifics about his sexual experiences and more about life experience.

Written in beautiful and impressive prose, this book is inspiring, heartbreaking, informative, and raw. It is a window into queer life, and a testament to the difficulties and necessity of living your truth. It is not just for my fellow memberd of the LGBT community (heyyyyy). It has important lessons for everyone.

Page is a poet. His words are imbued with so much meaning and emotion.

He offers a comprehensive look at trans life, and never talks down to his audience. He is an inspiring author. I am so glad I read this book.

A very good memoir about Elliot Page’s experience with gender dysphoria, acting, relationships, and his relationship with his parents over the years. Reading about his experience always being uncomfortable in dresses and tights and the extreme anxiety it caused him was difficult to read about. There was a lot of jumping around chronologically within the chapters which made it hard to follow at times. The trans joy that Page writes about was great. Page is also really good writing about his emotions and describing the atmosphere. I would really recommend reading this!!

I cried in the intro and that really just set the tone for the whole book. I feel almost overwhelmed with how incredible it is to hear Elliot's story this way. I can't recommend the audiobook enough; hearing it in his own voice is a beautiful thing.
(Seriously check the content warnings though, this is not an easy one)
