Pageboy by Elliot Page

Pageboy was such a raw and reflective memoir. The story itself was informative and inspiring, and the writing was great! Elliot showcases the pain and confusion of finding yourself. The memoir is written in such an interesting timeline (jumping around and leaving some confusion) which is different than other memoirs I’ve read. But there is something to be said for past events affecting your present self in a discombobulated manner.
“Rewarded for lying, punished for sharing the secret”

Overall I enjoyed this, love hearing behind the scenes stories. And his love life has definitely been interesting. What knocked it down in ratings for me was that the essays really jumped around in time with their order and it sometimes got a little confusing.
