I’m a wreck, truly. This one wasn’t as good as the first until the last 15%. That’s when shit went into high gear and oh my GOD. The reveal of how the world operates is unreal. Everything in the last bit had me physically and verbally reacting. Seriously RAD. I’ve seen disappointment in the next book which makes me SAD so I will hold onto how freaking wild this instalment was.

This book wasn’t quite as good as the first because I felt that there was too much time in-between major plot points. Lots of character building and time spent with different POVs, which I suppose I should be more appreciative of BUT I seriously adore SJM’s action and out of this world reveals and wanted MORE. Also, forever Prince Ruhn Danaan continues to be the best SJM man.
