It's a good story, in some ways a unique premise but my issue is dealing with the aftermath of the revelation of the secrets.
I think the problem is the secret from the Hero and the heroine, as they both are hiding something, is it all comes out too soon near the end. This means forgiveness and reconciliation with the truth and each other is too fast and unrealistic.
They accept things after a few heated words and an apology. The depth of the lies and the result is almost 18 years lost for everyone, that's a lot of time to get over so quickly.
