The premise had promise, the characters though did not. There was a lot of banter that just wasn’t needed, and some characters were just not Believeable or way too much. Some were just over the top. There was just some wordings or phrasing’s that just didn’t read well….
All build up no follow through

Set on a centuries future earth, this Sleeping Beauty retelling features a strong heroine working hard to control her fate. More romance than adventure, though there is quite a of bit of action. It was insta-love with lots of chemistry, but did include character development and relationship growth and stayed clean. It contained many elements of the familiar story, but in a modern setting complete with cell phones and sedans and a completely different twist on magic.

Mary Twomey is great at creating memorable, unique characters and I look forward to getting to know the ones introduced in this book better in other books in this series.
