I watched the show so I'm very familiar with the plot. I think the characters' thoughts and feelings are more focused on in the books so I wanted to finally read them all. I had heard that the show has butchered some things as usual, so I was really divided on what I should do (read or not read). I don't really have time to start another series but here I am and I AM LOVING IT. I've already gained so many new things from this first BIG volume, I am so happy!
