Ok... This book was so good! Gavin and Millie were just perfect *.*
It's so nice to read stories of mature couples, sure M was 18 years younger than G, but I feel like she was not your typical young woman - which is another bonus on this, there's no drama (other than a few plot twists, of course). I really enjoyed reading Brooks' story, but I feel like Gavin is definitely my favorite now (LOL).

In general, I've really enjoyed this author's writing style, just love how it's not at all repetitive and it's so easy to read. I'm always entranced with the stories she writes, it's not even fair! I read this book in like a day.

These brothers!! I know I mentioned this every book, but I just love the relationship between the brothers. The support and love they give each other is really really nice to see, I can’t get enough of them. Their text conversations especially are my favorite. I like that we spent the first 35% of the book in the past. It wasn’t just a flashback scene to show how the two main characters met. It really took the time to delve into their relationship and what it meant to them before they went their separate ways for two years.

Okay guys.

I figured out the whole paternity thing in four seconds, lets think critically for a second to figure this out. As soon as Gavin sees Vivi he doesn’t care about her actually being his daughter, she just is. And while that is admirable, we should probably find out who her parents are, right?!?! I also feel like this book was three separate books. It was so long and so much happened that I feel like it could’ve been split up into its own duet or trilogy. Not a negative comment, just something I noticed. Overall, I enjoyed it and I love the nice neat ending wrapping everything up!

Gavin has an incredible night with a mysterious woman at the bar, only to find out the next day that the younger woman is the grown-up daughter of his good friend. Their age difference (23 and 41) is difficult to grasp for many, even though her father has just married a woman 20 years younger than him (and 5 years older than Millie). Months after their exhausting long distance relationship ends poorly, Gavin opens his door to discover an abandoned baby with a note.

I liked Millie and Gavin together, but
I definitely thought it was weird that he never thought something like a birth certificate would be necessary at some point in the baby's life or that he kept the damn baby knowing it wasn't even his. Talk about psycho baby brainwashing.

I liked the main characters but the single dad/baby crazy bit was totally unnecessary and pretty freaking weird.
