A weird time to read this book. I really like this series and I think this is a great addition to it. I like the teen sidekick (sort of) and the element of the romantic. The fact that confederate enthusiasts and racist characters populate the book leave a bad taste in the mouth, but it’s clear our main characters are not like that.
